Villa Benyasiri is one of nine villas in the exclusive gated Samsara development. The secluded and private estate enjoys panoramic views to Kalim Beach, Patong Harbour and the Andaman Sea. Located 3km from the main access road, the entrance to Samsara is understated, and one may not imagine views as dramatic as the reality that unfolds. Every effort has been made to ensure that the estate harmonises with nature, the villas are tucked into the hillside, offering privacy and tranquillity.
The entrance to the villa is through cathedral-like bamboo doors, framed by tropical plants and accented with stone and ceramics. Once inside it is difficult to focus on anything but the spectacular 180-degree views that are showcased with floor to ceiling glass doors. The living space is expansive but understated - no need for television here in a space which enjoys Hollywood-style sunsets. Indoors extends seamlessly onto the outdoor entertaining area. The 14m salt water infinity pool is magnificent, but slightly insignificant when surrounded by the pristine expanse of blue beyond. Aesthetically, the villa is a combination of modern, minimalist design and traditional materials. Interiors are tasteful and functional without detracting from the panoramic views. The villa comfortably combines wide expanses of glass, brushed concrete and metal with bamboo floors and ceilings.
Villa Benyasiri, with its five bedrooms, is a picture perfect escape for families or groups who are looking for a relaxing villa holiday. The views are simply spectacular, and the outdoor entertaining areas, which surround the infinity pool, are perfect for drinks, a family meal (seating for 10), a BBQ, or a party. For the ultimate view, head up to the hilltop sala (gazebo) perched above the villa.
The villa is air conditioned throughout with ceiling fans in most rooms. The kitchen is functional, bathrooms are supplied with towels and toiletries. There is WiFi access throughout as well as local and cable television. Two staff are on hand to ensure that guests have a comfortable and relaxed stay. From cooking meals to arranging in-villa massages, from babysitting to provisioning, the staff aim is to provide a luxury hotel experience in a private home. The gated estate has full time security.

Villa Benyasiri is located on a headland between Kamala and Patong, on the west coast of Phuket. The villa, part of the exclusive Samsara development, is down an isolated twisting service road 3km from the main Patong to Kamala coast road. The villa is remote and a car is essential if one feels the need to leave the villa. There is no direct beach access from the villa which is perched high on the headland however there is a small (apparently unnamed) sandy beach within walking distance from the estate and Kalim Beach is just a few minutes’ drive away. The villa is ideal for guests who are looking for a relaxing hideaway vacation and are content to enjoy the luxury of a fully serviced villa holiday. Staff are on hand to provision for food and beverage however, should you wish to shop, Jungceylon at Patong (10km) has a Carrefour supermarket, pharmacies, banks and money changing facilities as well as a range of restaurants. The entrance level of the villa has an understated but functional living area and large kitchen, which flow through wrap around doors onto the pool and entertaining decks for dining, sunbathing or just taking in the fabulous views. The fully equipped strikingly modern black kitchen is beautifully designed with a 5.5m long bar (seats 8) that would be perfect for casual family meals or a lazy breakfast. This floor is completed by a guest bedroom with king bed which enjoys direct access to the pool deck, spectacular views and ensuite bathroom.
The lower level of Villa Benyasiri has been designed with families in mind. Four bedrooms and the home theatre room lead off from a large central family room/hall. The home theatre room comes with 96-inch projection television, satellite TV, DVD and Playstation 2 and a stereo system that can play throughout the villa. This room is the perfect place for some respite from the midday sun and can also double as a sixth bedroom. The master bedroom enjoys open views out to sea and a large, private outdoor terrace. A giant pyramid skylight allows guests to enjoy starry skies at night or first morning light while lying in the king bed. The sunken bathroom offers large shower and bath in minimalist tones of black and white. Even in the shower, you can enjoy the panoramic views, with complete privacy.
An additional guest bedroom with king bed and ensuite shower: perfect for a couple, with private balcony and views, can also be found on this floor, together with two twin bedrooms which are ideal for families with children. These share a large bathroom and an outside terrace. Bathrooms are contemporary with concrete walls and white or silver finishes. They are large, well ventilated and where possible also enjoy the views. Off the end of the lower level is a small garden area. The lower level also houses the staff quarters and fully equipped laundry.

In order to have a booking confirmed you must make deposit payment as outlined in Private Homes & Villas Booking Terms and Conditions unless special conditions are indicated for the period you are booking. The standard deposits are:

For rentals beginning more than 60 days after the date of your booking request - a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount is payable.

For rentals beginning 60 days or less after the date of your booking request - the total rental amount is payable as a deposit.

Security deposit

Upon arrival at the villa you are required to pay a security deposit. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to departure less any extra charges or costs for accidental damage to the property. The security deposit is USD1,500 for every week of rental (applies to stays of less than a week) up to a maximum of USD 6,000. You can pay by either cash or by credit card.
